Core Principles of Small Supports

Below are our core principles

1. Person-Centered Approach:

We prioritize the voices and aspirations of the individuals we support. By listening deeply to their hopes and desires, we empower them to envision what a fulfilling life looks like for them.

2. Building Strong Relationships:

Our approach is founded on establishing trust-based relationships with individuals, their families, and their support networks. This ensures that the care we provide is relevant and responsive to their needs.

3. Community Engagement:

Being small and local allows us to be deeply rooted in the community. Our team is engaged with local resources and networks, enabling us to help individuals forge connections outside of their immediate family or paid support.

4. Quality Over Quantity:

Our compact size means that we can closely monitor and adapt our services based on the feedback from the people we support and their families. This flexibility allows us to address challenges swiftly and effectively.

5. Focus on Aspirations:

By concentrating on what individuals want to achieve—whether it be forming friendships, finding employment, or simply enjoying everyday activities—we help to redefine what is possible. This supportive environment fosters a culture where every dream is within reach.

Our mission is to empower individuals with diverse or multifaceted needs to achieve real independence and fulfilment through person-centred, personalised community support, fostering strong relationships and promoting community integration to enhance their quality of life.
